A TrainingZONE eye view
=======================
This week, it seems people all around the country have been
struggling to get back into their work routines after the
Christmas break. Particularly hard-hit, apparently, are those
south of the border, who didn't have the luxury of an extra bank
holiday on 2 January and as a result have been suffering from
'Post Bank Holiday Depression Syndrome'. There have been calls
for more bank holidays in the UK and for the introduction of
'duvet days', apparently common in the US, where staff are given
a set number of days on which they can ring up and declare
they're staying in bed all day.

This week, TrainingZONE gives you a number of reasons to fling
off that duvet and log in to your computer, including the launch
of a new workshop schedule for the coming months. The weekly
sessions have proved a great help to many who've logged on in the
past - why not make it your New Year's resolution to come along
and contribute, and pick up some useful ideas of your own!

Tons of courses!
----------------
Great news for people wanting to find courses, seminars and
conferences on TrainingZONE. In addition to the wide range
of training courses from leading providers that was featured
at the launch of the service in October 2000, the new facility
has seen over 500 training courses added directly to it by
TrainingZONE members. Among the providers signing up at the
launch in October were Hemsley Fraser, Training Solutions,
Spearhead Training, Phoenix Training and CIMA Mastercourses,
but since that time over 70 providers have taken advantage of the
opportunity to feature their courses free of charge. As a result,
TrainingZONE's courses database now provides details on over 3,000
training events covering everything from successful budgeting and
Microsoft Office skills through to training the trainer and NLP.
The service complements TrainingZONE's partnership with Thinq,
one of the world's largest databases of courses and events.

TrainingZONE members can access both services at:
