A TrainingZONE eye view
=======================

Regular visitors to the TrainingZONE site should have a surprise
today, as we unveil a new look for the home page on the site.
It's the first stage in a major revamp, aimed at helping you to
access the resources and information you need more quickly. As
well as making the major areas of the site instantly accessible
through 'headlines' and pictures on the home page, we've revised
the navigation bar into four key areas - Resources, Work,
Information and Community - to make the huge amount of
information on TrainingZONE more accessible. There's also a Help
area in case you want to find our more about TrainingZONE or
contact one of the team. We've also re-organised LearningWire to
highlight each week's key news and developments in each of these
key areas.

We hope you enjoy the new 'improved' TrainingZONE - do let us
know your thoughts and comments on the new layout by sending an
e-mail to the address below.

RESOURCES

A comprehensive library of practical resources is available at
https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/toolkit

How to avoid bad debts...
-------------------------
Bad debt is the most serious problem affecting small and medium-
sized businesses. For two years, we've been able to offer you
one way of checking the financial status of companies before they
become your clients. Now we're able to offer you a really
practical, time-saving solution to collecting money which is due
to you. You can check the financial status of all UK companies
and company directors online at
https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/icc

...And how to ensure prompt payment!
------------------------------------
Once you've checked the credit status of your clients,
TrainingZONE can help you follow the progress of the financial
aspects of your contracts using PayMentor, a new online tool
which effectively tracks your payments system automatically. It
checks that clients are happy with your work; it reminds them
about due payment dates; it chases them if they don't pay on
time; it notifies credit bureaux of seriously bad debtors and it
uses specialist agents to enforce payment if that becomes
necessary. You remain in complete control, but don't have to do
any of the work - leaving you free to focus on the positive side
of customer relations. The new service is available now in the
TrainingZONE Toolkit or direct at
https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/paymentor

Training Trends 2001 stirs up worldwide interest
------------------------------------------------
Training Trends 2001 has attracted a huge amount of interest
since it was released last Monday. Key issues thrown up by the

some organisations towards staff development. This up-to-the-
