Editor’s note
=============
With their focus on a set academic timetable and subjects,
Business Schools can provide an excellent way of acquiring
information and building on existing knowledge, but can leave
some feeling restricted by the way the learning is delivered and
frustrated at a lack of opportunities for gaining insight into
their own learning.
For a number of years now, Action Learning has provided a way of
allowing individuals to develop their own thinking and problem-
solving strategies in a flexible but structured way. This
month, we’re very pleased to announce that TrainingZONE members
now have the opportunity to further their own professional
development using this method, thanks to a collaboration with
the International Management Centres Association and the
University for Action Learning. The online CPD Business School
will provide a flexible, work-focussed environment for anyone
wishing to increase their understanding of their own workplace.
