TrainingZone Live: Get ready for great speakers and lots of networking

tz_live

Coach Ana Antunes da Silva is looking forward to hearing from great speakers and networking with fellow community members at next week's TrainingZone Live, where she will be blogging for TrainingZone.

Training Zone Live, now in its second year, has quickly established itself as one the UK's training events not to be missed.

The set up on the day is unique in that you can select which workshop stream you wish to attend. The difficulty here is in deciding which one to choose, as there is an outstanding line up of speakers. I would be delighted to attend all the workshops as they cover such an array of topics, unfortunately, omnipresence is an art that I have not yet mastered. As such, choices and decisions have to made.
Jim Kirkpatrick requires no introduction as his name precedes him. Having had the privilege of attending his workshop last year, I am very excited about seeing Jim in action again. His knowledge and liveliness are contagious and he has an incredible ability to engage the audience. We will undoubtedly be receiving useful and practical tips and ideas on how to demonstrate the value of training using the New World Kirkpatrick Four Levels.
"Events like this can give provide the big picture view of what is happening in the industry and provide you with new ideas of how you can add value in your workplace."
It is almost impossible to list all of Dr Peter Honey´s accomplishments and achievements. Peter Honey’s style, knowledge, experience and sense of humour are legendary. I cannot think of a better person to present exploring story telling as a learning tool. I am sure he will have his audience hanging on to his every word.
With an inspiring background and remarkable experience, Nigel Harrison has an impressive portfolio of clients. Learning about performance consulting and the 7-step process will certainly prove to be an invaluable skill. Nigel is also an executive coach so I am particularly looking forward to discussing the changing nature of businesses and associated challenges.
Events like this can give provide the big picture view of what is happening in the industry and provide you with new ideas of how you can add value in your workplace. Also, whilst meeting people via conference calls and online is excellent, nothing can beat making face to face connections. I am looking forward to being surrounded by likeminded individuals. The camaraderie that takes place at this event is rather unique as it is highly interactive.
In addition to the networking that naturally takes place during the day, the networking reception presents a rare opportunity to interact, make contacts and exchange ideas - and the delicious food and drink are a bonus.
If last year is anything to go by, the energy and enthusiasm generated by the practical nature of the event will certainly be stimulating.
I look forward to seeing you there.
