The TUC has launched a new website, Learning Services, to complement its other lifelong learning activities.

The site has a glossary of terms and acronyms which will be useful to anyone trying to keep up to date with workplace learning. There are resources for union learning reps, whose developing role in boosting workplace training was recently recognised by government. Other subject areas include E-learning, basic and key skills, funding learning and the TUC's learning partnerships. The site also has full regional listings of events and of courses, TUC regional contacts, and a newsroom with the option of receiving email alerts on subjects of interest.
