Dr Ann Limb has resigned as the Chief Executive of Ufi.
The resignation, effective from the end of June, marks the end of Dr Limb's three-year leadership, when she was credited with helping establishing Ufi as the UK's most important publicly funded e-learning provider, and flagship of the Government's e-learning strategy.
Ufi Chairman Sir Anthony Greener commented on behalf of the board: "Ann Limb in her three years as Chief Executive has really put Ufi/learndirect on the map, and established it as a significant force in the educational landscape.
"The Board are grateful for her leadership during a crucial period of Ufi's development, and wish her well in her future career."
Pending the appointment by the Board of a permanent successor, Dr Limb will hand over day-to-day operational responsibility to Pablo Lloyd, currently Deputy Chief Executive.
