Hi
I'm currently exploring the new initiatives that organisations are introducing to encourage lifellong learning. One of these is ULR's and i was just wondering how they'd worked in other organsiations, and how successful they'd been.
Any experiences, hints or tips that I can learn from before I get started, would be really valuable.
Thanks
Kirsten

as a range of case studies relating to the development of Union Learning Representatives. Website address is http://www.learning services.org.uk

I am just starting to manage a project which will involve providing enhanced training for NHS Unison Lifelong Learning Reps by giving them an opportunity to gain a nationally approved Learning Advice qualification (NOCN Intermediate Award in Information, Advice & Guidance). If you send me your email address I will update you on our progress, particularly the impact this has on staff accessing the advice on learning in the workplace.
