Has anyone tried to use Edgar Schein's Career Anchors Inventory as a tool for career management in their company? We are having difficulty getting permission from the publisher to use it in an internal careers guide, but we are sure that it is used outside of Schein's book in other contexts!
Any advice?

Hi there,
When I was leaving a business a couple of years ago we were offered help through a company called DBM in York. They are a multi national US based company dealing in career guidance etc and they seemed to be using it successfully. In the organisation where I spent most of my career we ended up using Myers Briggs as a career/learning style approach…..if this helps if DBM cannot offer any advice etc. Hope this helps Fiona
