We are introducing a values/behaviours framework to all staff and want to start from the top down. As part of the workshops that senior managers attend, we want to give them a book that is both user friendly and gives them a clear steer about how to positively incorporate values and behaviours into operational teams.
Can anyone recommend a publication that is not much of a 'heavy'/academic read that managers will find useful?

Book on values

Its hard to get a book that is not too heavy but yet suitable for senior managers. You might try ‘Make Your Mission Statement Work: Identify Your Organisation’s Values and Live Them Every Day’ by Marianne Talbot. It is short (so may get read) and cheap; very much a ‘how to’ book. It might be a bit lightweight for senior folk but is worth a look.
‘Business Ethics and Values’ by Lovell and Fisher is a better book (so you might want a copy for yourself) but is a lot more heavyweight.
Your choice!
