Video Clips for Discipline & Grievance Session

default-16x9

Was wondering if anyone could recommend any good video clips that could be included in a session for line managers on dealing with capability, discipline and grievance sessions. Have tried to have a look at sites like YouTube as budget is an issue, but it's just so big so was wondering if anyone could offer any recommendations.

  1. have you looked into Video Arts clip service rather than the who

Failing that and notwithstanding copyright issues I’d be prepared to bet that Dad’s Army would offer you some scenes, Open all Hours some others or even the new drama series, Death In Paradise. (I saw a few potentially interesting bits on it last night!)

I’d also be imagine that BlackAdder or even "The Office" would probably provide enough clips from the different series to cover the whole gamut of your needs.

Finally, I have just produced several video and audio clips in-house just using a digital handycam/mobile phone and client staff as actors…..it cost a pittance and allowed us to circumvent all the issues of copyright and high cost that come with going for professionally produced video.  I was also able to write the exact script we needed……job done!

    I hope this helps

  2. HD Camera

Completely agree with what Russ says about making home videos.

For under £100 you can get a HD pocket size camera that produces fantastic quality video and you could carry this at all times making ad hoc videos when the situation permits.

This one is great for ad hoc interviews when you meet someone who says something you want to record for future training material.
