As Training Manager for a Contact Centre I have been asked to look at new ways of covering some areas of our standard induction. Two specific areas are 'Core Standards' and 'Communication'.
It has been suggested that a video illustrating these areas would be a good tool. Even better if it was an 'in-house item' using our own staff.
I need to locate details of organisations who do this and also source funding if possible. We had thought of approaching local colleges in the hope that media students would be interested. Has anyone tried something like this before and with what success?

Video
We have delivered this for a number of clients. Also video in CD ROM resources.
Colleges and Unis and private providers can access funding to assist but generally funding is through ESF which is long winded to apply for and also has to be of European significance as a resource.
Funding tends to also be cyclical so you may need to wait before proceeding to ensure your bid for funding is authorised prior to the poject start and a lot of businesses cannot wait to make the progress.
if you want further info on the funding email us on

Video Production
The best small company I have come across is Minamon Productions.
They do some corporate work but mainly charity and NGO based.
They take pride in their work don’t cost the earth.
Their number is 8674 3957.
Funding Is A Slow Process
Angela,
As with Susan, we have also completed a large number of video based projects.
Susan is also correct in saying that funding is long winded and unlikely to be an option.
