I recently arranged a Facilitation Skills course for my training team and they were impressed by the presenters use of ‘vision cards’ as an ice breaking exercise. The cards are playing-card size and have various images. They are used to help learners start thinking and exploring concepts.
I am keen to get hold of some cards but I only know of an Australian supplier (CSS). Does anyone know if this product or anything similar is available from a UK supplier?
And if anyone has experience of theses cards I'd be interested to hear how you used them and with what sucess.
Many thanks
Dave

A colleague made her own set with postcards, and tailors the exact process to fit the group/context. You can make your own – see http://www.ehow.com/how_6742967_make-own-vision-cards.html or you can buy a set from http://www.myvisionmakers.com/visioncards/index.php

Check out Visualsspeak.com for visual facilitation cards
Oregon company "Visuals Speak" co-owned by Christine Martell is one of the leaders in visual facilitation using various "decks" of images. Christine and her team have developed several different training products available for trainers and facilitators useful with different purposes and venues (including visioning). Their website offers comprehensive resources for trainers to learn how to use these tools in different training applications along with some great audio interviews with their founder. Affiliate opportunities are available if folks are interested.

RSVP Design
RSVP Design do some really striking images which can be used effectively to look at where an organisation is ‘now’ and where they want to be… images of organisations I believe it’s called. We use them quite extensively and they are very flexible. Recommend them – and, they weren’t ridiculously priced either.
