With continued expansion of our virtual communities, we’re looking for a sub-editor to work as part of the TrainingZone team. In particular, we’re searching for someone with knowledge and experience of the HR field as we develop the new Human Resources services on the site. The role involves
o finding relevant news stories and websites
o posting stories onto TrainingZone
o writing text and features for LearningWire
o following up other leads and ideas as appropriate
The role would suit someone who enjoys surfing the web, keeps abreast of the HR field, and a few hours a week to devote to the task. You’ll need to understand basic browser and web functions but don’t need any programming skills.
At present, this is a flexible and freelance role. We’ll pay up to £100 per week depending on the level of your involvement. You supply your own hardware and Internet access. Your sub-editing work is done from home or your own office. You choose the hours to suit - although as a web publisher, news and newswires must appear on time! The role is quite compatible with employment elsewhere, provided your employer doesn't mind!
TrainingZone is part of Sift - a fast growing Internet company based in Bristol with 25 staff which specialises in building highly interactive virtual communities. There may be opportunities for more salaried positions in future.
