  1. Some general WBT resources
    Hello!

Not sure about specific info about WBT for bankers, but can offer some general resources.

    Links
    http://filename.com/wbt/
    http://www.dyroweb.com/wbt/index.html
http://www.masie.com/(This is a large site, but you can search conference resources or newsletter for some specific topics).

As for the books, I would recommend
Driscoll, M. (1998). Web-Based Training: tactics and techniques for designing adult learning. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass.
Duffy, K. (1997). Training on the Web: A Guide for Instructors and Designers. Lake Helen, Florida: Lake Helen Publishing.
Hall, B. (1997). Web-based Training Cookbook. New York: John Willey

I’m interested in WBT as well, so will be glad to start a discussion.

  2. books on WBT
I am also at the beginning stages of a theses on WBT and have found a book by Colin Steed, called ‘Web-based Training’a very useful introduction to the subject. Its published by Gower. I’d be very interested to hear more about your proposed area of research!

  3. Web Based Training
A very good book entitled Distance Training could be very useful to your research. It is authored by Schreiber and Berge and published by Jossey-Bass. It has been useful to me in providing information in the form of case studies relating to the implemetation of distance learning into industry rather than academic instituitions.

  4. WBT
I thank to all who suggest any resource that will be beneficial for my study and I also hope to reach those books soon.
I would be very glad to hear about the overall design of Ms.Brenda Mead’s thesis on WBT. The reason is that I have difficulty in finding a sufficient amount of sample in Turkey because of it’s rarity and therefore I choose qualitative resarch desing, interviewing to collect data. By the way I could mention that right now I’m doing the literature review and will start to collect data in May.
I mostly search through EBSCOHOST (http://search.epnet.com) but required password, so as far as I know accessable through libraries or universities. I also use ERIC (www.ericir.syr.edu).
“Building a WB Education System” by Colin McCormack & David Jones might also be useful for your study.
We can also exchange some articles via mail.
