I am currently working on setting up a website to provide learning and information on learning. It is generally felt that at least some of the visitors to the site may have literacy problems. It is also likely that those visiting the site may not be familiar and/or comfortable with technology.
Does anyone have any information on how to make a site accessible to this type of user? Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

Some info
Here are some links that may help
http://www.useit.com/
http://www.cast.org/
http://www.w3.org/WAI/
http://www.accessibledomains.co.uk/
Some of these are more concerned with physical disability, but may still give useful pointers.
(The designers of this trainingzone site could do with having a look at the first of these, at least!)
I’d be very interested to help with design or testing if you care to get in touch.
thoughs appreciated
Thanks for the pointer Bob, the site looks useful.
We always welcome feedback on site design, and if anyone can come up with an easier navigation for TrainingZONEs 250,000+ pages please let us know.
Navigation, design and colour are always hotly disputed topics within the TrainingZONE team so any and all suggestions are welcome
