I'm undertaking a piece of preliminary research will be looking at the size of the training and development market for corporates, SMEs and individual consumers. Further to this we'll be looking at how much of this T&D is split between lecture based learning, classroom, self-study (reading, CBT, over the Internet) etc. If you've any ideas where I can find any up-to-date facts, figures and industry trends for the UK market then please let me know.

market statistics resources
Hi Paul
A couple of web-site addresses that I usually check are the following:
http://www.nua.ie
http://www.statmarket.com
http://www.mori.com
http://www.nielsennetratings.com
http://www.netimperative.com
http://www.mad.co.uk
Although, not all of the above are relevant to what you are looking for, these are very good sites to keep you updated on the UK market.
That’s all that I can come up with from the top of my head. I’ll keep you posted for any others. Hope it helps.

Try http://www.keynote.co.uk – they’ve recently published a report on the UK training market. I’m afraid that you will have to pay for it though.
Hope this is helpful.
