Can you help?
I am looking for a trainer who has experience of delivering training for non-UK nationals in the UK.
One of our major clients at our Libya operation has 9 people to send to the UK for M&L training and we need to find a trainer or training company who can fulfil the following brief;
Course: Management and Leadership
Duration: 4 weeks
Total Hours: 60 hours delivered across 4 weeks, 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day
Country: UK
Number of delegates: 9
English Level: B2
Years of experience: Each delegate have at least 10 years of Management experience
The trainer(s) will need to to have experience of securing visas for non-EU nationals and must therefore be aware of the latest requirements of the UK Borders Agency.
For further information please contact adrian.pitt@africantraining.com or telephone 01963 32769.
Thanks.

Thanks
Thanks Steve. yes, I appreciate it is a lot to ask as I know it’s getting pretty complex to get people in the UK from outside the UK.
I used to do it myself but I had to have a registered training centre etc and that was 5 years ago so I guess things are tighter now.
I’ll take a look at your suggestions and see if I can get something sorted.
Thanks,
Adrian
Running exclusive courses for overseas nationals
Hi Adrian
This is a big ask, especially as the UK gov are tightening up on such visas.
I would also be concerned about the timings – why not 2 weeks full time?
This would be easier to manage if you were to book them on an open programme rather than a custom course.
We can certainly do programs like this – but will you/ your client pay the costs? One of the problem of only doing 3hrs a day means that no other work can be done for that month – so rates are likely to be full day rates.
I have run a number of leadership programmes for foreign nations where Business English is their second language, and done this both in London & Dubai.
Relying on a provider to obtain visas is almost impossible – however the appropriate provider can provide a letter of declaration confirming the course, contents, dates and locations etc – ultimately the ability to get a visa will be the individual and their application locally (Libya) based on the documents provided.
So if I understand this correctly you are NOT looking for a trainer – but a provider that can manage the whole project – end to end?
One supplier I know of that does this is http://www.alexanderbrookes.com for other African nationals.

Mike
Management/Leadership Trainers
Hi Adrian,
I have replied to your query offline, however thought you may find the following useful: The UK Border Agency recommend their commercial partner in Libya Woodbridge Services to process visa applications for Libyan nationals entering UK. Here is the link: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/wheretoapply/libya
It would be very difficult for a UK training provider to do this for you because of the biometric data requirements.
Hope this helps
