Hi all,
Not a question I need answering for my own company, but more from a point of interest.
We tend not to use the traditional classroom anymore and have stopped sending our employees to one off workshops and classes. Instead, we create our own compliance materials for new and current staff and host this on our intranet but we also purchase external educational content (mostly business and personal development related materials) which is hosted externally for our employees to access. We do this because most of our employees are widely distributed throughout the UK and getting them together can be a hassle, also it means we can check the quality of any materials we distribute beforehand, something I'm not convinced we can do with a classroom.
Where do your educational materials come from? And how do you distribute them to the right people?
Why do you do what you do?

everywhere…..
I use client information, competitor data, comparable industry sector sources, whitepapers, internet articles, books, heuristic elements from Movies and TV shows, best practice guides and conversatons with wise people.
I note your reasons for evading the classroom…..do you use live online sessions? these can be very good with geographically spread groups
