Why learn in the cloud?

default-16x9

Education has often grappled with the limitations of technology. When you offer training, a large number of people rely on you to deliver a particular quality of service. But sometimes, without adequate technology, seemingly easy tasks can become a time consuming chore, with plenty of room for error.

Our 30 minute webinar on Thursday 22nd May focuses on ways to manage training administration, removing the risk and ensuring individuals remain compliant.  Join us to find out out a little more.

To ensure all the elements required to run a training programme are completed and the multiple tasks relating to course management allocated, you need stable and reliable technology that you can access at any time, should last minute changes take place. An in-house centralised system is often not enough to meet these needs, and may not be the most financially viable option. Usually only accessible from an office computer, during office hours, internal systems are prone to slow running speeds and even to crashes, meaning a reduction in productivity and extra staffing costs.

This is why cloud technology presents such a revolution to how we manage training on a global scale. Accessible from anywhere SaaS training software enhances trainees experience, reduces administration times, increased productivity and lowers costs as well as fostering a more open, creative and innovative business culture.

Operating a cloud based training management system helps to create a unified working culture in which all members of all departments operate within the same central system. Information and can be stored, found and shared easily and tasks assigned to all members of the team.  No separate spreadsheets, no duplication and nothing mislaid.

In addition, working with a cloud-based system allows for your business to grow across the world. If you already operate on multiple sites then working in the cloud means all information is stored in one place and can be transferred easily. If you want to run a tried and tested course from a London location in an Edinburgh location for the first time, course templates are ready and with slight adjustment waiting to be implemented with all course materials and information available. If your business is expanding overseas, look for software that’s been tried and tested with global clients.  Language shouldn’t be a barrier, either for administrators or for individual users,  as company user portals can be branded and the language personalised at individual country level.  You may wish to take a look at our user portal as an example.

My accessplan user portal was recently voted as one of the top 20 user interfaces worldwide

Once working, one system across multiple sites or countries, the cloud technology ensures that your business remains integrated and undivided. Ideas can be shared across locations and the multiple facets of your company continue to work together and collaborate ensuring that friendly competition remains precisely that, friendly and your customers continue to get the best.

Reporting is also made easy, as you can generate a huge variety of customizable reports instantly, on a variety of scales; whether it’s on a single course, a particular trainer, one individual site or your entire global enterprise. This allows you to assess courses performance in multiple regions and adjust it to fit to the local markets.

Working with the cloud means that your system is accessible from anywhere, meaning your more likely to get the information you need when you need it, no matter where you are. This also helps trainers manage their time, as with a click of a button they can get a live up to date status of course attendees, and download course information, attendee sheets etc.

Finally in today’s fluctuating markets, working with a cloud based software package means that you can adjust the features you need as and when you need them. If you business begins to dramatically expand, cloud based software will expand to meet your needs and additional modules can be added to the core system.

Investing in cloud-based software is the smartest, flexible and most financially viable solution for all training management needs.  Get in touch and find out more.
