Will you be getting FAT this christmas?

default-16x9

Psychologist Dr David Lewis, author of the best-selling book 'Information Overload' has identified a cause which is referred to as the FAT syndrome and states that Christmas is a particularly dangerous time for people to suffer from this syndrome.

No, it isn't the over-indulgence on Christmas turkey and all the trimmings, because the FAT syndrome stands for the 'Festive Anxiety due to Technology'.

Parents especially face an increased risk of suffering from technophobia as they will be placed under extreme pressures to understand and make new gadgets that their children have received as presents, work.

Parents are often too proud to admit that they do not understand how these gadgets work and therefore put themselves under even more pressure. A recent survey conducted by Comet has found that nine out of the ten adults believe that children as young as eight have a better understanding of technology that they do.
