Women in Management

default-16x9

Inova Knowledge is a small HR and People Development practice that designs and develops change projects/programmes for clients. We tend not to provide 1/2 day courses but 'learning' programmes over a period of between 3/4 months and 2 years. We are about to launch a programme for 'Women in Management' for one of our clients and would like to know about any other similar programmes for women to assess whether this programme has a wider market value?

  1. Related Open University Course
Although not a programme as such, the Open University Business School used to run a short course entitled ‘Women Into Management’ which I participated in around 1994. It was a programme over two months which brought together managers and aspiring managers from different companies and backgrounds and enabled shared learning to be applied in the individual workplaces.

There was certainly a good response from the participants that I met. One of the key plus points was learning from the experience of others, buidling confidence knowing that others go through the same problems and deal with them successfully.

  2. Perhaps Try
    Hi David,

I suggest you try Joumana Jeffers 0794 0323926 and Gwen Palmer 0374 605718.
