I am currently involved in an international exchange programme for students to complete work experience. I am interested in finding out more about the motivations and benefits for companies to offer work experience. I would like some statistics on trends. The type of companies involved in work experience. Also I am wondering about the impact on recruitment, in particular international recruitment issues. Information on the type of projects students are working on. Anything that would be useful when approaching a company about taking on students for work experience. Also, I would be interested in finding out about other programmes involved in this field. If anybody could help I would be grateful to hear from you.
