We have quite a few of our employees we need to train to use Rescue from Height Equipment.
We already have the kit and a trainer, but I am desperately trying to find anywhere that can accomodate us (height wise). We need a drop of 10 metres (ideally, but not less than 6) or more to utilise the equipment.
We need to do this training away from the workplace in a controlled environment.

Suggestion
You local fire and rescue services should be able to advise, and there are commercial training centres such as http://www.narc.co.uk/training/rescue-training-course.html
Local Fire Station?
Hi Nigel
You may already have thought of this, but I’m pretty sure that all Fire Stations have a tall block that they use for their own training. They might be able to help.
Or a local school during the summer holidays – they are always keen to earn extra cash!
Good luck

National Construction College
Nigel
I am not sure of your exact requirements, but the National Construction College in Norfolk delivers specialist training to the construction sector. This includes such things as steeplejack and tower crane training. They have a huge site with an excellent range of facilities.
Do get in touch if you’re interested in researching this further and I’ll give you the right contact.
Regards,
Jenny.

Tip
Try Total Access in Eccleshall as they run this type of training and I understand have the height you require for the training.

hight training
Hi there
schools and public buildings might fail for insurance reasons. If this is the case your best bet might be to try a trainings centre specialised in experiental/adventure trainings. Most have climing facilities (artificial and natural) wich should suit fine. They also have all the knowledge for eventual insurance and safety issues.
You can contact me and I give you a contact in the UK if you need.
Best of luck
