  1. Read the Book “When Cultures Collide: Leading Across Cultures” b

The itself says it all. This is one of many interesting books that I enjoyed reading. It gives insights about each and every culture around the world and it has a practical approach as well. Hope it comes in handy for your requirement. Cheers!!

  4. Resources about India

Hi, I’m not sure where you are based, but try calling the East Midlands India Business Bureau. This is run by the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) to encourage trade and commerce between the region and India. If they can’t help you directly, they’ll probably be able to put you on to someone who can. Tel: 0115 947 1766

  5. learning about cultures is a two way street

Dear Dominic, being an Indian and living in France had made me realise that the best way to learn about culture is to put people with both cultures in a room and lead a facilitated discussion on various key areas of cultural differnces – especially the values. within India you will find so many subcultures there may be some generalisations but that is somthing you need to avoid. learning about cultures is not a one way street so i suggest you get a facilitator with Indian background who has had an experience of living in UK.
