The world’ first three day Internet Forum, due to start today had to be cancelled through lack of interest. This forum which was to take place in London, was unable to attract enough people to make this event happen.

This seminar which was to take place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in central London was expected to turn into an annual event and had invited speakers from governments and businesses from around the world. Organisers are now re-considering this event.

Further summits are still expected to go ahead and representatives from global corporations and ministers from around the world will be in attendance to discuss the role of government and online business ventures on the internet and its implications for society.
