The 3rd annual International e-Learning Festival will be held from 8-10 July 2002 at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin. The festival, which is being produced by Advanstar Communications and The MASIE Center, will focus on the challenges of delivering e-learning across national, cultural, regional and political boundaries.
The International e-learning Festival will offer a series of conferences, briefings, user groups, workshops, vendor showcases and government panel meetings. During the two-day International e-learning Festival, Elliot Masie will address the challenge of launching and maintaining international e-learning efforts. Delegates will learn about the challenges of multi-language delivery, technical constraints from country to country, coping with time zone differences, privacy rights and taxation of cross-border sales, the role of government in e-learning and much more.
Other activities during the week will include user group meetings; one-day intensive workshops focussing on specific techniques for globalizing e-learning; tabletop and vendor showcase sessions highlighting new and innovative tools, systems and practices; and meetings of international government agencies.
