Section 508 courseware mods

Section 508 of the 1998 US Rehabilitation Act is now requiring all e-learning content providers to US Federal Agencies to design courseware compliant w/this directive. Are there any companies out there that have done this, & would share lessons-learned?

    I achieved it through writing my website to W3C standards and then submitting it to an automatic online checker for validation
