Dyson Signs up for HCI

default-16x9

Dyson is the latest company to sign up for the government's Home Computer Initiative.

HCI schemes, enabled by the Government's 1999 tax exemption on loaned computers, allow employers to implement a tax-exempt loan scheme for computer equipment for their employees to use at home

The vacuum manufacturer sign up will give employees the opportunity to lease a PC or Apple computer at below high street prices, typically a saving of 40%, for a period of three years.

The package, through Futuremedia's Learning for All programme, is expected to be launched this month.

Martin McCourt, Dyson's Chief Executive Officer said: "This is an incredible benefit that enables our employees to secure a home computer at a reduced price. We selected Futuremedia as our partner due to its leadership and innovation in the HCI field and we are pleased to provide our employees with its benefit programme."
