The National School of Government Centre for Strategic Leadership is introducing an international week into its flagship leadership development programme.
Hosted by the LIMAK business school in Vienna, the week will allow participants on the Top Management Programme (TMP) to visit a variety of central and eastern European cities.
Speaking at a Whitehall event to celebrate the 21st anniversary of TMP, programme director David Sweeney told guests: “One of the reasons TMP has been so successful for so long is that it constantly reinvents itself in line with new developments and priorities. Today, for a variety of reasons, leaders in the UK must work in the wider world. In central and eastern Europe, expansion of the European Union has brought great change and new challenges for us all - and our leaders must learn at the heart of the action.”
