Global View at WOLCE 2004

This year's World of Learning Conference and Exhibition (WOLCE) is set to have an international flavour.

The Birmingham-based event will start its first day with an address from Dr Dean Spritzer, managing consultant of learning and performance at IBM, who will consider how organisations can gain competitive edge through investing in people development.

The following day workplace training and performance consultant Jane Massy will discuss global developments in measuring return on investmentand how to ensure that the right measurement methodologies are employed.

The programme also concludes each day with free addresses from Clive Shepherd, director of e-learning at The Training Foundation, and Susan Pember, director of the Adult Basic Skills Strategy Unit at the Department for Education and Skills.

WOLCE takes place at the Birmingham NEC on 17 and 18 November. For more details go to:
