"Sir Geoffrey Holland has called on the government to put in train further reforms to tackle the UK’s skills deficit.

Reminding delegates that output per head in the UK was still 40 per cent behind the US and 20 per cent behind France and Germany, Holland urged ministers to set up a further review of vocational qualifications and to establish a national performance and skills centre in partnership with industry."
