On a general point, far far too much emphasis is being put on how skillful the trainer is, what the latest thinking is and what the latest buzzwords are. This is great for “training/personnel” professionals but not much help to the ultimate aim of improving the individual's performance in the business.

Getting back to basic good information/advice and an open honest approach to development is in my view the best way to help performance.

Say goodbye to Holistic Blended poppycock and get back to specifics. (That’s my soap box bit – sorry!!)
