LeadershipZone: Blanchard, Adair and Buzan together

default-16x9

ChampagneThere is a new addition to TrainingZone this month: LeadershipZone is up and running, and has immedately brought together three giants of leadership.

There are not many places that could offer chance to talk with Ken Blanchard, John Adair, and Tony Buzan. But on LeadershipZone you can.

Ken Blanchard, the guru of spiritual leadership, gives LeadershipZone an exclusive interview and will answer a selection of reader's question. You can quiz John Adair, chair of leadership studies at the UN; and try to win a place at a fantastic leadership seminar with Tony Buzan.

If that wasn't enough, LeadershipZone also looks at the rise of Barack Obama and explores the language of leadership.

To help you keep apace with the latest developments in the field, there is a monthly LeadershipZone bulletin, the first of which was sent on 22 January. If you didn't receive the bulletin you can look at it here. You can also sign up here to receive future bulletins. We look forward to some valuable feedback from members - although we can't promise an exclusive interview with Ken Blanchard every month!

We have already got some great comments:

"LeadershipZone sounds brilliant! So well done to whoever came up with that idea! As I'm currently undertaking PhD research into Authentic Leadership I really look forward to reading it from tomorrow.
Best wishes, and thank you for leading an online forum that continues to go from strength to strength."
Fiona

"I would like to congratulate you on your initiative in setting up LeadershipZone. It is indeed a much needed resource that offers benefits to not only the obvious positions of leadership but anybody who is looking to take charge over their own lives.
We are an organisation based in Sydney, Australia who is dedicated to building leaders with the belief that true change in our world can only come when we have the skills and knowledge to take control of our own direction in life and choose a better future."
Jay Singh Ahluwalia, Australia

"Please could you sign me up for LeadershipZone because leadership development is what I'm passionate about!
Warm wishes"
Julie Street

"Well this sounds interesting! I look forward to seeing LeadershipZone and to the opportunity of posting a few ideas about leadership and leadership development."
Tom Boydell

"What a great addition to TrainingZone.co.uk and I look forward to it. I don't believe we need to loose much sleep over differentiating between leadership and management until we need to develop and/or source development for the former.
I'm New Zealand-based and an in-house training and development manager. When we've gone to external providers in the marketplace looking for 'leadership' development (read EQ et al) there's usually a real confusion and we're offered everything but behavioural interventions.
I think the more educating and sharing this community can achieve in the business-critical area of leadership and leadership development the better."

Wayne Moore, New Zealand

"What a timely introduction of something so close to the heart of management, given the current global economic situation. As much as we would like to shift the blame, businesses cannot ignore or overlook the responsibilities they shoulder in leadership.
So when times are bad, do you cut down on your loyal subjects or do you take a paycut? What about all those luxurious assets gaining depreciation?
I hope the new forum will create enough dust to kick up some serious review of how leadership needs to shape up to ride the storm ahead."
Good luck.
Yuvarajah, Malaysia
