E-learning guru Clive Shepherd is holding a free seminar at the Training Foundation next week.
Shepherd, director of e-learning for the Foundation, will deliver a presentation entitled Rethinking e-learning in which he will challenge what he sees as popular myths about e-learning. These include e-learning is just a tool, the world is ready for self-study,
e-learning is not interactive, e-learning is a job for the professionals and e-learning is essentially unpopular.
The open day, at the organisation's Coventry headquarters, will include presentations on a number of e-learning resources and the Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP) offered by The Training Foundation.
Other speakers include Training Foundation chief executive Nick Mitchell, its director of learning solutions Les Hobbs, consultants Louise Knott and Mac MacDonald.
More information on the open day on Tuesday July 26 is available at www.trainingfoundation.com or email info@trainingfoundation.com.
