The Spring Group PLC has announced their preliminary figures for the financial year ending on 30 April 2001.

The Spring Group announced a re-focus in order to change strategic business plans which in turn will boost profit and streamline the services. The IT Training section of Spring has announced the recruitment of a new Managing Director in an attempt to increase it’s profitability and increase figures. Action is being taken to centre the main business targets around the training solutions which have a greater baseline profit while reducing business lines which are not as lucrative.

These developments come at the same time as the separation of the Spring IT Training and Spring IT Solutions into individually managed areas. Ron Orme, formerly of Parity Training, has been appointed as the new IT Training Managing Director while Gary Homes has taken over the position of Sales Director. Changes in such a structure are sure to lead Spring back to further profitability in the foreseeable future.
