Hi there,
I am a trained journalist, and was wondering if there was a way to combine my writing with the training that I do ie are there any training journals/sites etc that I could write for which would encompass both of the careers I enjoy into one?
Many thanks in advance,
Clare

First advice would be to write for your own site. This will showcase what you do.
And then if you would like to have some articles published for the Association please feel free to get in touch.
If you were a member any articles will assist in raising your profile.
Please feel free to get in touch.

Writing
Hi
There are a few publications you could find useful in looking for markets for your work – some pay better than others – some don’t pay at all (but do help you to build a portfolio of work).

Your local library should have them – or you can buy them – if you buy them you generally get access to web based resources.
You could also look at local outlets fo your work – like the business section of your local paper, newsletters of relevant organisations etc.
And – obviously – eventually your collected articles could possibly become a book – or ebook – that you could sell or give away on your website.
You’d probably find it helpful to Google some resources on article writing too as features are different from news journalism.
Anyway – hope that’s some help – good luck.
