I delivered a workshop on the same topic last year, I have a discussion exercise based around the training cycle whcih worked really well, Can you please email me off line and you are welcome to use it.

We have a whole bunch of
leadership skills training material and free exercises that cover people development, communication skills and many inter-related topics.
Developing others is a big topic. If you let me know what is it you are explicitly looking for, I might be able to help further.
