I am looking at ways of increasing my income as an IT contractor and was considerng becoming a provider of Microsoft training courses and sourcing my own trainers. I first need to research whether there is still a market for microsoft product training since i have trained bespoke for the past 5 years. However, can anyone recommend a good courseware provider I was going to write the courseware myself but it will take too long?

I understand from a number of agencies that a lot of the current requirements for Microsoft Training seem to be more floor walking or customised to a client’s needs. There seems to still be a demand for XP rollout as well.

Courseware provider
With regards to a courseware provider you could try sanscrip.co.uk. They have a product that allows you to quickly and easily create ‘customised’ courseware for standard products. I used them in a previous role several years ago and it was a great time saving solution – writing manuals can take forever. I haven’t used them recently so would recommend a trial to see whether you like their layout / content.
