Here’s a tool and an interpretation analysis to go with it – it looks OK to me, I’m going to run it with our staff in the next couple of days and see how accurate it is.

You might want to try the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Instrument which is useful in helping participants understand their own approach to conflict and its implications.

I can also recommend the TKI, self-scoreable, high face validity and inexpensive. Can open up some very good group discussion around conflict, decision making, influencing etc. I often use something like the ‘NASA’ exercise as an introduction to the topic – or ‘cave rescue’ if you want to get some real conflict going!
