I co-ordinate and conduct KM training in a large law firm. Training focusses on research skills, searching internal know-how databases and some external information sources. For a while already I have been trying to find some general information about this type of training, to get some new ideas, but all I find is information about HR/Soft skills and IT training. KM websites seem to ignore the subject as well.
Does anyone know an organisation, book (or other material) that covers this to some extent?
Or is there anyone in a similar role wishing to exchange ideas?

As a starting point
Francien,
Have you searched TrainingZONE for ‘knowledge management’ resources?
The list produced is reasonably extensive and displays several resources that may be of interest including products and courses/providers.

Hi Francien,
I think I have the exact information you are looking for(?), if you want to drop me an email, I’ll send you what I have on it.

Have you wandered along to http://www.brint.com yet? A veritable avalanche of useful stuff! I can also talk commercially about KM certifications & courseware development ‘cos that’s what we do (but there are others too).
