Are podcasts helpful way of getting useful information?
I currently host and produce a podcast show at www.topbriefings.com and I'd be interested to find out if people found podcasts a useful way of receiving information.

Useful for me…
I have just recently got an ipod and have found it useful to listen to a whole variety of podcasts on the move. For both professional & personal interests. However I wouldn’t listen to a podcast in any other way. Too slow to access the info -I can’t speed read it.
There is information overload already so I think people choose to listen what is interesting/useful to them. So if the quality is good and relevant – people will listen.
Does anyone have any recommended podcasts they regularly listen to?
Yes…easy to access any time anywhere
Yes, your right about their usefulness. I prefer them to audio books as I found I’d always end up buying the book to look up the points that were made.
I also like the fact that you can listen to them anytime and anywhere.
