Work Experience placement

My sister in law teaches at a French technological university. She has a 19 year old (female) second year student who is seeking a work placement in South-East England for the month of March. The student speaks good English, but wants to improve – she is prepared to do almost anything except be relegated to making tea. Can any member offer a potential place or does anyone know of a an organisation I can approach?
