  1. Option ‘B’

I prefer to blank the screen by pressing 'B' the screen goes black and then right click you know have a blackboard on which to write.

  2. horses for courses!

either way; black/coloured on white or white/coloured on black, brilliant either way

  3. Brilliant, but ….

Thanks Rus.  Am I particularly ham fisted though? I can't "write" tidily on the black/white screen with my mouse pad on my laptop.  My writing looks like a three year old's!!  Any tips?

  4. Wacom

The best method for pen input in my experience is via a Wacom Tablet and pen. I have both but it's primary use is for Lightroom. Look on YouTube you'll find examples there. Be warned, they're expensive!

  5. iPad

Forgot to add – If you have an iPad then I think you have the best option for writing using a projector as a whiteboard. You need a connector cable between the projector and tablet and a suitable app, for my money that's 'Paper' By 53.
