...since I last posted. I have been on the go, but thankfully there may be a period of calm up ahead. Right now though, I can't afford to do anything that isn't productive. I'll make an exception for busting a few moves on the dancefloor at the Learning Awards last week. It was good to see the hoi polloi of the training industry let their hair down. I know who the prospective entrants for Strictly Come Dancing are now. Congrats to all the winners (of the Learning Awards, not SCD), and all the entrants in fact. Getting to the shortlist at all is good recognition. And also while I'm on the subject, a quick mention of the LPI staff who pulled the whole thing together. Amazing job. Smooth, good-looking, not an ounce of unnecessary flab on the whole proceedings. The polar opposite of me and my dancefloor prowess, in fact.
After a few weeks of graft I am going to take a well-earned break to Morocco in about a month's time. This was a Christmas present from me to my girlfriend and we are taking our mini-break right on the cusp of 28 weeks, after which point you need a doctor's note and a few other administrative hoops they make you jump through. So I thought I'd get in there with a quick getaway before all that malarkey. Then we can concentrate on being new parents and all the joy, wonder and nappies that this entails. If I said I wasn't apprehensive I would be lying. But that's natural isn't it? Anyone?
