Absolutely Training and the British Bankers’ Association in e-learning venture

default-16x9

Online training in money laundering prevention will be available to the financial services industry from October through a new e-learning programme being introduced by the British Bankers' Association (BBA) in association with e-learning provider Absolutely Training Ltd (ATL). This new product will deliver information, provide opportunities for self-assessment and support a formal examination and accreditation process.

The package will provide training for all levels of staff working in the financial services industry, including banking, legal, insurance and accountancy sectors, all who have a requirement to take some form of anti money laundering training.

Ian Mullen, chief executive of the BBA said: "London is one of the largest financial centres in the world, handling billions of pounds worth of transactions every day. Naturally, this makes it a target for financial crime and it is essential that every member of staff within all financial institutions is alerted to the possibility of money laundering activities. This new training package will be flexible, cost effective and most importantly, easily accessible, to everybody who needs it and will form a valuable extension to the regular live training that we provide through our conferences and seminars."
