Accelerated Learning

Can anyone help ? I've read a lot about Accelerated Learning and been on programmes that have incorporated AL techniques - however, I want to know more !! Specifically about applying the techniques in different environments, with different groups, ages, subjects/topics. Can anyone recommend a good website / workshop / seminar / course that will help me learn more about AL and how to apply the techniques well ?
A Metcalfe

  1. Foreign language training
Have you tried learning a foreign language using the approach? I have had a number of colleagues who enjoyed the book/audio tapes more than the more traditional book/audio or CBT approach. Jenny

  2. Source of training
I attended a training course on accelerated learning with the Institute of IT Trainers. It was very good – I recommend you try it

    Mark McKergow Associates

Mark and his team run the very best AL prog on the planet, I’ve done it, and as a senior management coach and organisational learning person and Ex-trainer, I’m the worlds pickiest punter! They do it for blue chips, private sector, charities, public sector, everybody. It’s the best!

  4. Accelerated Learning
Interesting subject and varies tremendously on your interest. I work with Colin Rose (ALS UK) and am currently involved in developing AL into early learning skills, although I deal mainly in adult learning to learn. I can certainly help with contacts and information but this will depend on your area of interest i.e. education, training, coaching, finance etc. Let me know and I’ll get back to you. If you want to look around try Kaizen training for development in AL. They ran an Excellent ‘Fusion’ workshop last year in London. Hope this is of help!! regards Kevin

  5. Accelerated Learning and Brain Friendly Learning

Try for resources and seminar information.

My name is David Gibson and with Eureka we have helped many blue chip companies and individuals produce real learner benefits incorporating the very best from Accelerated Learning Techniques and most of all, techniques based around how the brain and body really learns (taken directly from the leaders in neuorscience).

To discuss ideas (no obligation or sales pressure – just friendly chat), please give me a ring on 020-7244-9444 and ask for me.

Wishing you every success with new discoveries.
