Accreditation of Project Management Courses

default-16x9

One of our clients has asked that a 3 day project management event we have customised for them be accredited by an awarding body.

We know of accreditation through the APM route however would like to hear if anyone has gone done this route and their experiences with project management before.

Contact me off line if you wish - [email protected]

  1. A Project Management Award is under development
You may be interested to know that ENTO (the standard setting body for a number of awards relating to workplace learning, human resources, etc.) is currently consulting on the development of a set of national standards for Project Management. I know this won’t help you in the short term, but you might want to keep an eye on developments, if this is an area of interest for you. So far, they have mapped out a possible framework for such an award, and contacted organisations they have dealt with in the past to evaluate the potential market.

  2. award accreditation
    HI Ron

ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) offer endorsed and development awards outside of the national framework, which enable ‘in-house’ or customised programmes to be given a ‘kitemark’ by a nationally recognised awarding body.

If you wish to progress this further, I suggest that you contact ILM at 1 Giltspur Street, London EC1A 9DD 0r call 02072943063 and speak to Babita, James or Rosheen.

    regards
