And the winner is…

A big thanks to everyone who entered our recent caption competition. Suggestions have been of a particularly hilarious standard…

Unfortunately there can only be one winner, one lucky person who will walk away with a place on Pinna's Manager as Coach course, worth a whopping £1,200!

Congratulations to Garry Damant. His suggestion, "Don't cry Vladimir, I haven't been invited to the G20 summit either" was judged to be the best.

Commiserations if you didn't win. Look out for the chance to enter the next caption competition on Thursday 23 April when we'll be giving away another amazing prize.

In order to enter our caption competitions you now need to sign in to become a registered member of either LeadershipZone or TrainingZone - membership is entirely free. We are currently working on a package of free member benefits, which we will be unveiling later this year.

Pinna is a business and executive coaching company, working with individuals and organisations to introduce coaching as a way of working with people to get the best out of them. As the leading provider in the North West, it also works with senior individuals and teams, offering various one-to-one coaching options, in-house team based coaching and facilitation and coach training programmes.

The Manager as Coach course is a high-level coach training programme, not to be undertaken lightly. Normally costing £1200, it is a serious and highly valuable programme consisting of two workshop days followed by an action learning day one month later. In-between the programme days, delegates undertake practice coaching sessions and record the learning in a Learning Journal.

Following the action learning day a further round of coaching practice is undertaken including a tutor-observed session. Throughout the programme additional reading and research is required. The programme culminates with a written assignment of 1500 words, drawing together learning from all aspects of the programme.

This course is recognised by University of Central Lancashire for 20 Credits at Level 7 (Masters Level) (NQF).

Level 7 qualifications recognise highly developed and complex levels of knowledge which enable the development of in-depth and original responses to complicated and unpredictable problems and situations. Learning at this level involves the demonstration of high level specialist professional knowledge and is appropriate for senior professionals and managers.

Entrants should be aware that the course is run in Lancaster, and they may be required to arrange their own accomodation.
