Any advice for designing a 30min training course on driving Customer Service in a busy flagship retail store?

default-16x9

Have a 30 minute session to put together for an interview - have a few ideas myself but just wanted to see if anyone had any more inspirational ideas!

The task is to deliver a 30 minute training session for Sales Managers on Driving Customer Service during peak time in a really busy flagship retail store environment....

  1. Customer service training
There are loads of exercises out there but one thing that really struck me when I was doing some customer service training was the notion that “a customer bought me everything I own”. So, that fancy holiday, the new clothes, that night out with friends, a customer paid for them all. I think this is a powerful message and really does hit home that if you work in customer services, the customer really should be at the centre of everyting you do.

    Good luck.

  2. Service
Might be worth having a preview peek at the Fish! video clips on line for inspiration !

  3. Good references
    Hello

I used to work in the training team for a large retail bank. I would strongly recommend reading the fred factor…really short story – but focuses on creating an ‘experience’ and adding the personal touch

  4. In Search of Excellence
    Hi James,

You may want to have a look at In Search of Excellence by Tom Peters and Robert Waterman. They use Disney Land as an example of provding world class customer service and how a bisiness can use some of their aproaches in any business. A quick Google search throws up some articles or I have some if you would like them.
