Barriers to Joint Working

Does anyone have any information on theoretical frameworks or research findings on the issues which are most likely to hinder joint working between two different organisations? For example, what would be the most common barriers of joint working between public and voluntary organisations?

  1. Joint working
I can’t give you anything but personal experience of a private company working with the Public sector and voluntary organisations. If you want to chat this through I am happy to do so.

  2. Knowledge-sharing/joint-working
There is an article in this or last week’s People Management on knowledge-sharing, the article may not go into sufficient detail, but the authors of the article have produced a book on their findings.

If you cannot access People Management, let me know and I will see if I can track the article down.

    Hope this helps.
